What is a Pysanky Class?
Pysanky classes are designed to teach the process of writing pysanky to beginners while also providing new elements and learning opportunities to more advanced students. In the classes all materials are provided - although students may bring their own kistky if desired. Each class is a different pattern. Click here to see a list of dates, times and to register! In an Open Studio, a chicken egg and dyes are provided. You just bring your own wax and kistka. You are free to work on an pattern you would like, assistance will be provided as it is available. This is a great way to join in fun and fellowship writing pysanky with other artists! There are limited Open Studio spots in the 2025 Pysanky Classes at Artful Journey Gallery.
